1. Scope of Official Performance Coverage
Sheen Overseas warrants to the original residential and commercial property owner that permanently installed engineered Quartz surfaces and sintered porcelain slab tiles will remain free from manufacturing structural defects, internal delamination, spontaneous micro-fissuring, and resin discoloration for a period of fifteen (15) years in residential applications and ten (10) years in commercial installations from the verified date of installation.
2. Certified Performance Guarantees
- Stain Resistance: Permanent resistance against household culinary substances (red wine, tea, coffee, citrus acid, vinegar, olive oil, turmeric) when cleaned using standard pH-neutral household detergents.
- Structural Homogeneity: Zero internal resin segregation, structural air cavities, or porous void pockets exceeding international tolerance thresholds (≤ 0.5 mm).
- Color Fastness & Uniformity: Homogeneous vein structure and aggregate matrix distribution across matched batch lots manufactured under the same calibration run.
- Flexural & Compressive Resilience: Certified flexural strength exceeding 45–55 MPa (EN 14617-2) and compressive load capacity exceeding 150–220 MPa (ASTM C170).

3. Mandatory Fabrication & Installation Requirements
To maintain full warranty coverage, installation must follow the official Sheen Overseas Quartz Countertop Fabrication & Care Guide and Large Format Slab Tile Installation Manual:
- Fabrication must be performed by certified stone fabricators utilizing continuous water-fed diamond bridge-saws, CNC routers, or waterjets.
- All inner corner cutouts (sink basins, cooktop openings, L-corners) must incorporate a minimum 10 mm (3/8") radius curve to distribute mechanical stresses. Sharp 90-degree square cuts void warranty.
- Countertop overhangs exceeding 300 mm (12") must incorporate structural cantilever steel support brackets or corbels spaced every 600 mm.
- Direct exposure to open flame, induction cooktops without heat trivets, or hot cookware exceeding 150°C (300°F) without heat-insulating pads voids thermal shock coverage.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty excludes: structural substrate shifting or cabinetry settling; mechanical chipping along un-eased exposed sharp edges caused by heavy impact; etching from hydrofluoric acid, caustic soda, or methylene chloride paint strippers; unauthorized post-factory topical sealers or waxes; or outdoor installations exposed to unshielded solar UV radiation (unless specifically rated for outdoor sintered cladding).
5. Claim & Remedy Execution
Upon verification of an authentic manufacturing defect by our technical engineering committee, Sheen Overseas will provide replacement slab material of equivalent value and finish or issue a proportionate commercial credit note.
